Could your company benefit from using Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and other social networking sites? These forms of social networking are getting a lot of media coverage recently, but its not all hype - some people are using these tools to benefit their businesses.
Charities are using them to communicate with supporters, businesses are using them to promote their services, they can bring a personal face to a large impersonal organisation, they encourage interaction with your organisation and they build a sense of community.
On the 1st July business owners and markateers from all over Scotland converged on the Malmaison in Glasgow to hear from speakers and experts in social media and look at some case studies of different organisations that are using these tools, and what theyre getting out of it . They explored how they chose between the different tools, and the factors they considered before they jumped in. They identified exactly what benefit theyre getting, and specifically looked at how they measure it.
