I've been playing drums for over 15 years. Through the years I've played in all sorts of bands from jazz (in college), church bands, metal, and anything in between. I've been in a couple of signed bands that didn't work out sniff sniff. I quit playing for awhile to work on the "biz side" of music and have done various tours in the support role with bands such as King's X, Carmen, and Zoe Girl to name a few. The last tour made me realize that drumming is really where my heart is. The unfortunate circumstance I've been in fairly recently is that I've been partially disabled due to a herniated disk. Kinda makes it hard to drum eh when your legs/feet are numb and your back is cursing at you? I hope to be putting up videos of me drumming ANYWAYS albeit rusty due to my current condition. I don't care how bad I suck right now haha I just wanna play, even if it's sitting on a throne of ice long enough to shoot a vid for YT. I hope to start rehabbing in the near future so I can get back to form, lose some weight after "hibernating", land some auditions and yes a gig. There's nothing like waking up in a new city every day and wondering how ya got there haha. Map please!
