This is the story about a girl and a slug. The slug is magical and his name is Mora. His magic and the gifts he brings, transforms the girl so that she accepts her ability to be things she never imagined until then.
She has the desire to live in Japan, and Mora helps her understand some of the things about her heritage that might explain that desire.
She also has questions about Japan that lead her to unusual dragons that still live there today.
The beautiful background picture you see here was done by bobvhan and is the cover art for the book, "The Chalice and the Charger"
