From the size of the board, it looks like you could have easily fitted two channels into a single RU... Any reason you built it as 1 channel/2RU? Seems like a massive waste of rack space to me.

@civandalic It's a visual advantage, not a technical one. Traditional texture-mapping means repeating the same image over-and-over if you have a large surface that needs to be textured... Megatexture means that every square inch of your world is completely unique.

@CadrinHaverit The appearance in this video is after using a bunch of console tweaks to change the appearance. You can make it look like Q3A if you want, but most people turn down the textures so that it's easier to see everything.

@saucyaussie Because of how he's recording the audio, presumably. His microphone is plugged into channel 1 on his camera, and he uploads straight from there, and channel 1 ends up being the left channel on the video.
