i disagree on the smoking though.
Its only sinful if you're addicted to it and thats all you think about.
As for that verse where it says your body is a temple, and where it says you shouldn't defile your body, you have to remember the context in which the verse was talking about.
It is actually using the word "defile" in the context of adultery.
In other words, it wasn't talking about smoking but it was talking about fornification.
