I did this with lead and it sheared today. I'm going 50/50 silver/tin and trying it again. Silver/tin takes a long time to cure. Like a minute to harden and you don't want to move it while it dries.

Improved Honda Shadow Bobber
This is a 2001 Honda Shadow that has been heavily modified. Recent changes include cut and wrapped pipes & painted tank. Just about finished.
I might suggest a leather wrapping around your hand controls for consistency of design. The white is nowhere else on the bike.

@naval8viator It's not 500 in supplies. Hoses and a thermostat and a water pump should all come in around 120. Gasket maybe 40 dollars max. If the head needs machining at a metal shop that's the local rate for that. Nowhere near 500 dollars.
