Young group of under age teens planning a night
out. They go to the off license, where the tallest one goes in because he looks the oldest. They then go back to the flat and start drinking. After a while they head to the night club. One girl gets thrown out of the club for being to drunk. A guy that she does not know drives up in a car and offers her a lift. Because she is under the influence she decides to accept, even though she knows that he was drinking as she was talking to him in the club earlier. He then drives her to an abandoned area, he offers her more alcohol and they continue on drinking. Then the girl wakes up in her house unsure how she got there. As the day goes on she starts getting flashbacks of the events the night before. She remembers getting thrown out, the guy, the car, the alcohol...

My proposal is give the drink awareness idea a new
twist, with the many adverts and short movies on the subject i feel that most of the main points have been addressed. With these adverts in the mainstream, people and youths alike have seen it all, now when a informative advert comes on they turn off. my idea is to manipulate them into watching the advert by changing the style of the information given, i have decide to do my short film as a movie trailer, an epic trailer, shourded in the look and feel of a movie trailer, this will get the viewer interested in the film, hold their attention, and gradually draw them into the story, then when the trailer comes to a climax, they are hit with an uneasy feeling, one of uncertainity and understanding, from there you be given the information, in which you may make up your mind towards the over consumption of alcohol.

Our project aims to address alcoholism in young
people. We feel this issue isn't given enough serious treatment, and the cause of heavy binge drinking in young people is dismissed relatively lightly amongst the public as nothing other than young stupidity. With the use of a short fictional piece we have written we hope to make the viewer truly aware that sometimes the self-destructive drinking of teenagers stems from personal conflicts and stress. This short narrative follows the cause and effect of one young man's use of drinking as an escape from the difficulties of life.
