	driekone (1 year ago) Regarding your view on the Bible. I am sorry but it just does not hold up. You cannot discard the parts of the Bible you see fit, yet still call it the work of God. Anyone can cherry pick anything they want out of it so that it suits his or her needs. The Bible clearly says that slavery is okay, and that we should stone people, even slay people. Read Matthew's version of Jesus. Very fire and brimstone! Very different from Mark and Luke in many ways. Like I said, it depends on which Jesus you wish to read in his many moods.
	driekone (1 year ago) No, I do not believe in an afterlife. Heaven and hell is our choosing while we are here on Earth. We choose if our life while we are here is good or bad. There is no afterlife in my opinion, but to me, that is not a fearful or awful thing. To me, it is the ease of suffering when we die. And to me, knowing that we only have one shot at life, it is my opinion that we live our lives "right now" to the fullest.
