I used to be like you docatomics, fearful for the future, thinking the world was coming to an end in 2012 or sometime soon regardless. It was eating away at my hope and optimism and one day I had to let it go. I have my apocalypse preparation kit packed and ready to go. Unfortunately its only prepped for zombie and/or alien invasion scenarios, comets are little more difficult to avoid. :D

There is plenty of scientific theories regarding the younger dryas era and the end of the ice age, and frankly there is no movement because the scientific community is happy in there current understanding. I approached several distinguished researchers and got nothing but a pompus attitude and an unwillingness to listen. My position is that the 'biblical flood' did occur, but not necessarily as the bible tells it. The story of the flood predates the bible by thousands of years and exists in several different cultures around the world.

Well, dredawgz1, at least you've come half-way to my position -- and you might say, I've come half way to your's! But do you know of any real movement in the scientific community to address the enormity of the Solar System's/ Earth's Cataclysm of 12,000 years ago?

I just want to state that while I believe that 'Noah's' flood was in fact caused by the Clovis comet, I do not believe in the traditional ark story. As you see in part 2, Its my contention that the flood event resulted in our last evolutionary steps as a species.
