The 5 day work week is one of the biggest environmental issues & few people talk about it.
To sustain a 5 day work week with increasing automation meant building things with inbuilt design faults.
This is the greatest error of the 20th Century & we have taken it into the 21th.

Ask yourself, why is it that no government has placed a regulation to share the technological advancements & yesterdays promise of more leisure. When a factory becomes automated & the work of 500 is now done by 2 or 3 people the worker revives no benefit of this on-going progress. In fact in the past 35 years we not only work the same hours or longer it now takes both parents to earn the equivalent income.
