All i've read between both jason lollar ad chris klein is that for radii of 9.5" or greater, flatpole has a more balanced response. With necks rounder than a 9.5" radius, the stagger is supposed to be helpful in balancing each string's perceived volume.

They're "Black Top" FilterTron pickups. If you've got a 5120 i'd look up TV Jones pickups. They're what's put in all the 6120 high end Grestch guitars, 'cause they're awesome :) i wouldn't suggest the dirty finger, i hear it's reeeally muddy. Besides, TV makes way better p'ups than any...

Your playing is sick. In the kids' slang way, not the literal way. It's funny, I thought your licks were reminiscent of mister Mayer waaay before you even got to why georgia :P I'm already saving for this. So excited. I even have a Celestion g12-65 Heritage from my last amp aching to hop in, too!...

Wtf? I'd be one of the "smart" ones you're talking about and still that comment is extremely pretentious. You can have an opinion without being so. Learn a lesson in humility before you start trying to school people in gear?

Definitely gonna want a TS-type pedal for the general SRV thing. Also 1) Better pickups. Tell either John Benson@bensonhandwounds, Chris Klein@kleinpickups, Curtis Novak@curtisnovakpickups, or guitarfetish(GFS) Boston Blues. Or Duncan Antiquities. Google them! Contact any of thos...

@aektzis91 Yeah, I was referring just to the G12M, not the Heritage, which i believe is the G12H30 no? Everything I've read says the entire Heritage series is made in England. And as far as the Green/Blue combo, I've only found one decent vid featuring the two, and IMHO it sounds very good. My cu...

No, 50w through 2x15w speakers only gives you 30w of power handling. BUT you could run this amp at 30w (Class A, Half Power (Triode) mode) perfectly fine through a couple Blues. Or maximize its potential, sell the Blues, buy some 50w Alnico Golds, and use all the settings you wan...

**unplugged sustain to begin with, to me it's more inspiring than just having a better amp. Either way, this is a stupid debate. Your insightful comments aren't particularly helpful.
@cianinthesack Keeley compressor = thick creaminess, keeley katana boost = boost and articulation, and probably a TS808 for OD and more thickness are my best guesses. Live he uses his two rock signature head and two 2x12s, as well as a dumble (forgot the model, maybe overdrive?) head and two mor...
