I have two house geese (sebastopols) and I love the tale of Izzy. The gosling looks like a little Canada goose... is that right? Boy are they good parents.

My ducks and geese think my pants leg and shirts are to be tugged on, but the very best toy is my long hair which is a special focus for them. I think they are looking at me lovingly... they are looking at my hair and sizing up how they can eat it and tug on it hard. I love your ducks!

cute baby, but as with humans, he or she could have a little respiratory infection. I was taking care of a baby goose who had a very faint crackle that had an infection and needed antibiotics. You take your kids to the vet - you have to find a duck-experienced vet, but there are some. Good luck.....

I'm so sorry for your loss! I have been trying to make a predator proof pen for my ducks and ended up having them inside most of the time while I keep making it perfect for them. Any suggestions on how to keep those foxes out? I'm going to make them a pond too, but hang out while they are in it ...

This looks like a Call Duck and was probably someone's pet because he is imprinted to humans, obviously.
