Romans 3:23
For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God, and are justified freely by grace through Jesus Christ.
John 3:16
For God so loved the world that he sent his only son, Jesus Christ, that whoever believes in him shall not perish, but live everlasting life.
this is what makes the bible different than any other religion. you will not find this teaching in any other.
"Let me control the textbooks, and I will control the state"
-Adolf Hitler
"Education is a weapon whose effects depend on who holds it in his hands and at whom it is aimed"
-Joseph Stalin
"Marxism is Darwinism in its application to social science"
-Gustav A. Wetter in Dialectical Materialism.
"Darwin's work is most important and suits my purpose in that it provides a basis in natural science for the historical class struggle"
-Karl Marx
Proverbs 18:
1 An unfriendly man pursues selfish ends; he defies all sound judgment. 2 A fool finds no pleasure in understanding but delights in airing his own opinions.
Proverbs 1:20-29
Wisdom calls aloud in the streets, she raises her voice in the public squares; at the head of the noisy streets she cries out, in the gateways of the city she makes her speech:
How long will you simple ones love your simple ways? How long will mockers delight in mockery? And fools hate knowledge? If you had responded to me rebuke, I would have poured out my heart to you and made my thoughts known to you. But since you rejected me when I called and no one gave heed when I stretched out my hand, since you ignored my advice and would not accept my rebuke, I in turn will laugh at your disaster; I will mock when calamity overtakes you; When calamity overtakes you like a storm, when disaster sweeps over you like a whirlwind, when distress and trouble overwhelm you.
Then they will call to me but I will not answer; they will look for me but will not find me
Since they hated knowledge and did not choose to fear the Lord.

@Dilberto. I must give credit to my friend MirabiliaMania for this.
There are no contradictions in the Bible - not a one. For example. "Robert is rich, Robert is poor." This is not necessarily a contradiction! One could be talking about two different persons named Robert or using the words "rich" or "poor" in different senses - such as Robert is spiritually rich but poor in material wealth. All efforts at harmonization must be exhausted before anyone can make the weak assumption that the Bible has contradictions in it.
A common argument is that "If God created the universe, who created God?"
Einstein understood that time, matter and space were closely linked. we know that time binds this world. everything degrades over time, and the only way something can IMPROVE over time is if it is consciously ALTERED by a superior being.
time cannot be eternal, because everything in time must have a beginning and an end. everything with a beginning needs a cause. Time must have a beginning.
time must have a beginning because if it did not it would defy itself. everything within time also needs a beginning and an end. the creator of time obviously is not bound by time, because time did not exist before he created it. he has no beginning, because everything within time needs a beginning and an end, therefore he needs no cause.
time binds all things. everything degrades over time. everything in time needs a beginning and an end.
everything with a beginning needs a cause. The world is bound by time, and everything in it has a beginning. the world itself cannot be eternal, because it is bound by time, and everything in time needs a beginning and an end. Time must start at some point, and end at some point.
the creator of time is eternal, has no beginning, no end, and therefor needs no cause.
a-theism is actually a relatively new idea. but really, most people who call themselves"a-theists" do understand that there needs to be SOME sort of creator.
"There are no Christians, as far as I know, blowing up buildings. I am not aware of any Christian suicide bombers. I am not aware of any major Christian denomination that believes the penalty for apostasy is death. I have mixed feelings about the decline of Christianity, in so far as Christianity might be a bulwark against something worse."
