Ian could easily sing BS songs when his voice wasn't shot. Of curse they aren't his songs so there is always a strong argument that the originals are better. But can you imagine Ozzy trying to sing Child in Time, Speed King, Blood sucker, Highway star, etc... He just doesnt have the skill to do...
