Guam is the first memories I have as a kid. Dad was attached to VQ-1 at this time frame. I loved Barney the Bat and just hanging out around the beautiful A-3's. Got to even taxi in one here and that was the best. Ahhh the memories!!!!!

My dad was in VQ-1 from about 73-76, left right after Pamela hit. He was with the "Whales". I miss Barney...Loved to see that guy.
