Footage of the immediate aftermath of the tornado that slammed directly into downtown Fort Worth on the evening of March 28, 2000.

In the video, you see the enormous street level plate glass windows of the Sanger Lofts building which housed the temporary home of the Modern Art Museum and the Convention and Visitor's bureau. Note the car parked in front of the CVB and the hole through its dashboard. Yards away on the street a computer monitor is on the ground.

Literally thousands of panes of glass from the Bank One tower were smashed, and shards of glass coated the surrounding three blocks. Also shown damaged are the Tandy Center towers, the Carter-Burgess tower, the Color Tile building, and Sundance West. (less info)
