bd FILMS

BD is a film maker and photographer based in Bristol in the UK.

He works extensively in documenting the arts and artistic processes.

The work on this channel is all in collaboration with the artists featured.

Much of the work here consists of musical performances filmed using only one shot, which has been an ongoing project since October 2008.

Of the 110 films on the site most feature musicians but there are also dancers, a poet, a collaboration with a painter, a film about the artists mother, a film about an underground station, and a film about a journey through the desert in Australia.

Most recently BD has been producing longer form films with some of the artists with whom he has built relationships.

BD is a member of the Convoy Collective, a group of artists who have control over the creation and distribution of their own work.

He works with artists from Convoy as well as many others.
