Douglas Scott is a Protools Engineer , Sound Designer, Arranger and specialist in virtual instrument technology.

He has contributed his skills to academy award winning director Andrew Davis' films and worked on projects with recording artists Herbie Hancock and Michael McDonald,Everett Harp , Lea Solnga ,Curtis Stigers , Brian Auger , Hamish Stuart, Peter Tork , Glen Ballard and others.

Along with co designer Robby Scharf, Scott created the seminal sample loop CD "Synchroloops" for the Guitar Center.

Mr. Scott has held a lectureship with The University of California and has served as an instructor at UCLA and the Musicians' Institute.

Doug has recorded on releases on Capitol Records, Motown Records, MCA Records and done arranging projects for EMI Japan.

He has also performed with ,Pauline Wilson , Kenny Loggins , Joe Cocker, Greg Philinganes, Nathan East, Steve Cropper, Joe Walsh and many others.

Scott recently completed a project with legendary Guitar pickup master Seymour Duncan along with mixer/masterer Paul duGre.
