2 year old horses are perfectly rideable, and that girl weighs what... 90-110? The only problem I see is that teenagers shouldn't be training a 2 year old with no adult supervision.

What's awesome about this? It wasn't pre-recorded and lip synced... that's true talent, not computerized improvement. He STILL sounds just like that live... he's a living legend.

@kaitlynnicolesturgis do you ride? And if you do, do you ride perfectly every time? These people's biggest misfortune was that THEY messed up in front of people... but no rider is perfect every time they're in the saddle.

Was she a beginner here? If so, she did fantastic! I hope she got past letting those barrel taps scare her into a wide turn, because if she hadn't that time she would've cut a good 4 seconds off her time. Good job :)

In Western, stirrup length is all about preference. I ride with shorter ones, because my horse likes to bolt with no warning. Any other horse, I ride with longer stirrups. As long as you can stand up a bit in your stirrups, they're correct.

The only barrel racers that wear helmets are the kids who's parents make them... I wore one while jumping when I was a kid. I don't do that anymore (it's just not my thing), so I sold my helmet. @ponyshae888 If you wanted a boy, you might have to give up everything :) I say that in humor, but remember, it's an extremely time consuming, FINANCIAL responsibility. Not to be taken lightly. That being said, some people were just meant to be with their horses, like me. I got a job specifically...

@ILOVESTORM100 Ponies are notorious for being panicky and dangerous. Not all are, but personally I'd rather put my kids on a reliable full sized horse than a pony.
