Since the age of 12, when I was lucky enough to watch a doo wop group named Eddie and The Boppers practice, I have been collecting doo wop. My collection is mostly vinyl, which include 78rpms. I don't have the money to go around buying doo wop 45's that cost $5000.00 but I do consider myself a collector. I listen to everyone from The Accents to The Zircons. Uptempo doo wop is my favorite, the faster the song the better. Of course there are some great ballads that I dig as well but not too slow. I used to roll around with a doo wop group called The LO Tones, we mostly did it for fun and it kept my appreciation for doo wop strong. I will always be a doo wop addict.
