Mostly because I cannot endure the abysmal circumstances of the music industry where talent seems to deteriorate and quality is diminishing. The lack of vocal gift plunders the music scene, and award ceremonies no longer lauds vocalists for their endowments; rather, it is a excessive confirmation of popularity vote (and this is clearly not the point of the music industry, albeit at the way things are progressing artistes make it their point). I'm an Entertainment (specifically regarding Music) person, but on rare occassions I do delve into Fashion, the Arts, Politics and Humanities.
In case you haven't noticed, indeed, I am a colossal fan of Mariah Carey, though when it comes to qualitative analysis I believe myself to be impartial, because I stand that no singers are unerring and thus their standards fluctuate. Yet for MC, it's invariably far above average: she owes it to her brimming musical (and vocal) prowess.
