I am an independent IT consultant. I have a wife(Arlene) and 2 kids ( Liam - 6 & Erin -4 ). I live on the North Shore ( pretty uptight communty ) of Chicago. Our neighbor hood has instituted a Drinks on the Driveway (www.drinksonthedriveway.com) season where people can wander in and meet other neighbors. When the sun goes down we show a movie on the garage for the kids while the parents can sit (talk & drink) uninterrupted.
