The head shaking, or twitching could have been seizure. Though it was drooling, but once it was back to normal, it didn't stagger about.

I don't think it was rabid. It was just obviously having a seizure! It was standing and walking a bit more normal afterward. It it was staggering about, then perhaps you would have had a rabid coon.

Yeah, he is a gorgeous stallion! Kind of feisty too. Just teasing a mare. This stallion also gets an erection easily when he rears, thinking he wants to mount. But I also think he was a little afraid to get close to the teasing board with the mare because his handler carried the stick.
