i've used both canon and nikon dslr and i've come to find that the camera or the lense is never the limitting factor. its the photographer.
basically, learn to take photograph, and the stuff between you and the picture becomes irrelevant.

I just bought one, and I seem to have a defect in it which I'm not sure is common across all tourists, or just mine. When you open the corkscrew part way, does it seem to move the large blade?
