Hello!
I'm Dodi
Hope you like my page. Please have a look and tell me what you think. I am 14 years old ,and i have a fabulous teacher who is working with me to develop my voice, as my dream one day is to become an opera singer! I also take music theory lessons and piano, and am a member of the Young People's Opera Society. And am hoping that this will help me prepare for what i want with all my heart to do one day. I live on a farm with lots of animals all of whom i love SO much. And i do lots of my practicing in the barn (good acoustics!) Thank you very much for having a look at my page!

You have a very sweet and beautiful voice. If you continue studiyng with good teachers (in the Bel Canto tradition) I'm sure yuo will be a great singer. But please forget about nowadays "opera stars" and listen to the great artists of the past like Ponselle, Rethberg, Nillson, etc.

Hi Dodi!
You have an amazing voice! Especially for such a young women. Guard that voice and don't let ANYONE mess it up with up with poor technique or overburdening theories of what makes "good singing". Keep it free like it is, learn your pieces like the back of your hand so that you are not nervous and can just "bathe" your audience in your beautiful sound. Beware, music school can ruin a good singer, and YOU are great singer with an exceptional instrument. STay with teachers who understand how to really teach the Bel Canto style of singing! THen go out and BLESS, bless people with that beautiful voice! Best Wishes in all you do!
Oh, listen to recordings of good singers like Joan Sutherland, Birget Niilson, Anna Moffo, ect. watch/listen to what they do.

What a fine voice you have and are developing. Tell us more about yourself - where you sing, study, hobbies other than music. Do you also play an instrument, or sing in church or do musical theater, etc? Best of luck to you in your musical and other pursuits.
