Believe it or not I've been playing guitar since 1980. I was semi-professional from 1989-1995, I played in 2 working bands and we played the Twin cities area. I consider myself to be a very sloppy player and I've learned alot of bad playing habbits over the years. If I would have spent more time practicing and less time partying I think I could have been a very good guitarist. I'm definately NOT a shredder or a perfectionist...this is just my favorite hobby I guess. Everything I've learned is by ear, or by jamming with others...so I'm not always 100% accurate and I don't do tabs....guess I'm too old school. There was no internet or tabs back when I started playing. My current guitars are....2008 Gibson Les Paul Supreme, 2002 Ibanez DT420 destroyer, 2006 Carvin DC400, 2007 Carvin Bolt-T. My main amp is a Carvin V3 100w 2x12 combo tube. I'd say out of all my guitars my Carvin DC400 has been the work horse. Carvin is a VERY under rated guitar. I own 2 of them and they are both excellent guitars.
