Why didn't the Trek ships use shields? Why didn't B5 use it's weapons more? Why did the Trek side have more then Enterprise-level ships (same era but 24th century ships were getting thrown at B5 as well, WTF).

@Kingneo0053 No it didn't. That was the shortcut, you could also simply evolve into that state. Remember, only Human ascended were shown (aside from Anubis who was a Goa'uld) but there were 5 races in the alliance and only the Asgard couldn't ascend.
