* I APPRECIATE PEOPLE'S HARD WORK AND THE TIME IT TAKES TO PRODUCE MUSIC AND WHETHER I LIKE THE MUSIC OR NOT, I RESPECT THE WELL-MEANING AND SINCERE EFFORTS BEHIND ALL PROJECTS.
Im a BIG music fan. I am partial to some music/artist/genres/trends over others, just like your "qualified" critics. Having said that, I pay attention to lyrics, production and try to find similarities/ sources of inspiration/ or just plain copying (biting). I research and read a lot. Even though I am not a music expert/student I spend hours listening and dissecting what I like.Even then, I do not let artistic reservations, personal or otherwise, deter me from enjoying music/a catchy melody may it be bubble gum/sampled/copied/a timeless classic or a remix. Music amongst a couple other stuff is my hobby/passion/obsession. IF I criticise something, it is because it is my personal opinion and exactly how I feel whether the point is valid or not to the reader.,
