Tried a bourbon tonight, here's some tasting notes

Woodford Reserve Bourbon(Kentucky Straight, 45.2%)

-Color- Dark reddish amber, obviously color added
-Nose- starts out caramel, vanilla and honey. With water(a dash)+time turns brown sugar, butterscotch, toffee, treacle and sour fruits
-Palette- Brown sugar, more honey, vanilla and caramel on arrival. Turns to tangy sour, fruit and spice
-Finish- Smoky Burn and goes down dry and woody, nice lingering spices
Overall Impression- 84/100 Bourbon

Tried the Glenfarclas 12yo tonight, excellent Speyside malt. Here's some tasting notes

-Nose- Starts out lemon, cherry and creamy vanilla, with time+water becomes honey, candied, sweet bakery goods and sherbet-citrus
-Palette- fruity lemon-lime arrival progresses nicely to bitter-sweet honey and grassy, some sour in the back
-Finish- Dry and oaky, nice lingering spicy-smoke(not peaty)
Overall impression- 86/100 Single malt rating

just because i know you will ask, i will be uploading another JW blue label review in 2 weeks.  My brother and I do not like the first video and it needs to be more in-depth for what blue label offers in terms of taste, smell, and finish! 2 WEEKS SON!

Glenlivet 12 Year old
Nose- Starts out apple, pear and light citrus. With water+time progresses to toffee treacle, vanilla, and raisins
Palette- Caramel, honey, apple, raisin, and citrus-vanilla
Finish- What finish? Almost leaves you expecting more, its sweet refreshing and citrus sour but subtle
Overall impression- 82/100
I was a bit let down by this whisky it did not live up to its expectation for me, I enjoyed the Macallan much more

Hello friends, just thought I would add some tasting notes. I had the pleasure of trying MacAllan 12 yo tonight, and it was a really nice whisky.
As this was ordered at a restaurant, I didn't have a camera on hand, heres some notes instead to help you when trying this whisky.
Color-light golden
Nose- Starts out honeyed and floral, with water and time progresses to citrus, vanilla, floral, and slight leather
Palette- Warm citrus fruit and apple arrival, progresses to aged wood spice
Finish- Dry, smoky, peppery and very crisp and snippy. Doesn't sustain as well as some other whiskies.
Overall Impression- 84/100 Single malt
