Grand Master Flash was one of the first DJs to break the mold commonly associated with the role of a Disc Jockey. He, along with many other turn-table pioneers, began to make DJs more than a background entity; DJs rapidly became their own main events with the help of his presence. DJ Zeke was born on November 25, 1984. This versatile Sagittarius is becoming his own enterprise as each day passes. Born and raised in the home of the Wu-Tang Clan, Park Hill projects of Staten Island, New York, he managed to persevere and become both a college graduate and an aspiring entertainer.

During Zeke's early High School career, a close friend in need of music approached Zeke for an event knowing his talents. Zeke was known by his peers to have a widely renowned collection of various genres of music. Zeke has always had a passion for music and soon asked the pastor of his church to use some equipment for his close friends birthday party. After the party, Zeke realized that he has an immense passion for playing music and soon after, his parents provided him with his first set of equipment from Sam Ash. Zeke began to realize the importance of the utmost service he began to save his money and continued supplying both his presence and wide selection of music for many events parties. Zeke quickly became his high schools predominant DJ. He rapidly created a buzz for himself by offering free services for many events.

Zeke began his collegiate study at St. John University in Jamaica, New York. DJ Zeke was determined to become a well-known DJ at St. Johns. DJ Zeke respectfully tapped into and targeted another market at St. Johns to stray away from being a one angle DJ. Zeke began to offer his services in various multicultural events on campus. DJ Spynfo a well known campus DJ gradually gained respect for Zeke because of the buzz that he created as a mere freshman in college. Soon after, both DJ Zeke and DJ Spynfo began doing parties together to build both of their names. In addition, they became St. Johns Universitys two biggest DJs uniting over 600 people for each venue. DJ Zeke began to take on the chief role of St. Johns number one DJ. By the end of his junior year, DJ Zeke was finally known as one of the biggest DJs around on all three St. Johns campuses. In addition, he gained strong recognition at Adelphi University, Marymount University, Lincoln University, Hofstra University and the Transformers premiere in Los Angeles, California. He also began MCing concerts as well as the St. Johns University home basketball games at Carnasecca Arena. Zeke was also a New Student Orientation Leader for two years and a practice player for the girls basketball team, which helped maintain his fitness as well as to build re pore with the staff and coaches. During the summer of 2007, Zeke also began touring with the We Got Next college tour, a new movement sweeping the nation.

Dj Zeke's versatility has allowed him to become a headlining DJ for many events across the east coast.
Zeke states, When a person can apply their passion to their lives, it becomes more play than work, and only then can a person become whole... Being a DJ is also being both a student and a teacher. You learn to incorporate the various styles of performing while also being given the opportunity to leave your own impression on the lives you encounter.
