I'm is a disco lover for whom the groove rules, whose passion for strung out disco and funky basslines never tires. Be it playing, listening or reviewing music has always been one of my life's most vital ingredients and nothing gets me off more than a decent tune. I like to think my DJ selection brave yet knowing, able to pull the strings of a dancefloor just right. And having been lucky enough to be part of the Aeon Events family for many, many years (I have the grins and hangovers to prove it) I've played at some of Brighton's best events including Wild Fruit, Sunday Sundae, Rebel, Monkey and Cash Queen. For me there has been nothing finer than dropping Mr Fingers in the Wild Fruit Dance Tent at Brighton Pride or seeing the clubbers you love raise those hands to a certain Mr Richie at a Sunday Sundae Season Closing Party. I love my job........all night long!
I'm exactly what I says on the tin, with added disco strings. From a childhood disco littered soundtrack courtesy of my mum's Wharfdale turntable via a promotion to class record player monitor, I've taken her genre jumping love affair with house and disco to some of the nations finest DJ boxes including Wild Fruit, Brighter Days, Together, Audio, Coalition, The Honeyclub, Big Love, Sunday Sundae at Audio, Digital, Rebel, Vintage At Goodwood, Smack, Queer Nation and the ever memorable Wild Fruit Big Top at Brighton Pride.
I'm simply a lass in love with house and disco, be it soulful, funky, strung out, tech or jackin'! And it's a love affair I'm keen to share.
