Lou Reed most be the most overrated sorry ass excuse of an artist ever. The only things he'd done that has some quality are the songs Bowie did for/with him.

Lars has definitely never been a solid drummer, that's for sure but over the years he has developed his own signature style partly based on his lack of musicality and understanding. Kudos to that though, but in terms of music he always has will always be a crappy drummer.
