About this user
When barely sixteen, Udgata Anagh was an obvious child prodigy. Besides his talent with gadgets and computers, he was becoming a whiz kid for a genre quite uncommon for his age. Year 2007 began with him producing music -- lots of it, some of which was for movies and documentaries produced in different corners of the world. Within a few months, many of his experiments began to turn passé for his emerging interest, and he knew Electronic Dance Music was what he was after. Although production was his main act, his DJing talent simultaneously won him many competitions and year 2008 brought him several gigs, besides invitations from countless radio stations to play his mixes.
Udgata's music has now more or less settled between House and Trance/Progressive. He has stayed away from that 'hard' sound and is making sure the elements from House music are evenly melodious and silvery. By year 2009 Udgata had produced 'Edea' which was picked by Roger Shah, landing him with Armada Music under their sub-label, Magic Island. Edea soon went on to be included in the recent trance compilations 'Various Artists - Trance Top 100, Vol. 7' [Armada Music], and '50 Trance Tunes Vol. 20' [Armada Music]. Year 2010 has now seen him throwing himself into production and he is already being backed by support from the likes of Roger Shah, Tom Colontonio, Pedro Del Mar, Barnes & Heatcliff, Paul Trainer, Matt Darey, Manuel Le Saux, DJ Danjo and many more.
On the DJing front Udgata has recently performed his Live set at The Gallery, Ministry of Sound alongside artists such as Andy Moor, Kyau & Albert, Super8 & Tab, Mat Zo, Jaytech, 16 Bit Lolitas to name a few. Three months down and he has already done a bundle of guest mixes for several radio stations, while many are in the pipeline. So what's next? Production and DJing, both. Several new singles are underway, and a few of them also appear to be collaborative work. From the looks of the exciting horizon, 2010 is set to be one hell of a year for this young lad.
