Since 2003 DJ Twiggy began playing as a hobby at her friends partys even though Twiggys profession is as a graphic designer and professional photographer. Her musical influences are pop, house, dance, glam rock, glam, rhythm n blues, trip hop, and soul.
Motivated by the success she began having at such events, she continued her DJ career and was one of the founders of an alternative urban group creating spaces which showed their several art expressions, named: Colectivo Urbano Colorsonica. Along with the nights full of dance and music where TWIGGY performed, this group showed several performances such as fashion show among others. Twiggy also participated as a DJ at the Car Audio event in 2005. Thanks to this and to several interviews done to her by different magazines and TV shows she obtained local acknowledgement. In 2007 DJ Twiggy was part of the transformation from straight disco to a gay one of Roxy Go Go, where she was resident DJ at its beginning. Nowadays Twiggy works a resident DJ every Thursday at Blues Bar.
