Imagine, in a far past in a small town in Groningen, Holland. When the first dance-tracks are heard on the radio and house music rises, somewhere a young DJ-to-be is hooked on the radio, a taperecorder in reach, waiting for that one special track. Music is his passion. He spells the charts, never misses a show and because of that, he makes a rocksolid base for a musical career.

Soon just recording tracks from the radio wasn't enough. After a couple of attempts the first dance-compilations started to develop. In the local town-club he could let it all out and for a enthousiastic crowd he played and mixed his music. 2 Turntables, a mixing desk and loads of records were purchased. A simple hobby was about to grow into a semi-professional concept. The only thing what was missing was a real DJ name. And because mixing is all about synchronosity, the name 'DJ Synchro' was quickly found.

One gig after another finally gave him residenties in a club in Nijmegen and Groningen. His tight way of mixing was noticed by the crowd and as a result, a small group of fans was born.

Eventually the (logical) step to a professional institution became a fact. In oktober of 2001 the National radiostation 'Yorin FM' invited him, together with a fellow DJ, to mix the 'Yorin FM Hitmix' A 4 hour show with the best dancetracks and danceclassics. This show soon developed to be the show with the most listeners of the whole radiostation. But after a format change, unfortunately, the Hitmix was cancelled.

One year later, DJ Synchro started to mix for a National Radiostation called 'SLAM!FM'. He started to mix the 'SLAM!X' A one hour show with the best dancetracks of the moment in a tight uplifting mix. After the 'SLAM!X' SLAM!FM asked him to mix the 'SLAM!YAM', a short minimix which was aired every working day around 5 o clock in the show 'Markplein' Soon this became the most populair item of the show.

After 2 years DJ Synchro stops making mixes for radiostations and started focussing on producing his own tracks in his studio, which he invested in so many years. He also teams up with different producers and, as a result, the first release is a fact. In 2007 the German house label 'Lickin Records' signed a track he made with DJ Jva, called 'Time out' (You can listen to it on the Hyves and Myspace pages)

In june 2007, big Dutch House DJ DJ Jose asked DJ Synchro and DJ JVA to make a 2007 remix of his smashing hit 'Hesitate'. So they teamed up in the studio and as a result the remix became available on all major downloadsites like Dance Tunes and the Radio 538 downloadshop. The remix became a great succes and became very populair by many DJ's.
