Dj Space (real name:Thanos) was born and raised in Thessaloniki of Greece.From his childhood,he liked being involved in music.He was asked to join the Choir of his school at the year of 8.During the years 1995-1996 he was having guitar and synthesizer lessons.

His first contact with music production was in the middle of the year 1996 as a producer of Hip-Hop music.The year after,dj space and disastah (as the MC)created a 2 member group called "Atherapeytoi".1997-1998:Dj Space started making efforts to create music using an old synthesizer and an old radio-cassete player which had a mix-recording feature so disastah could record his lyrics onto the songs.

At the end of the year 1999,Alchimistis joined (also as an MC) the group,and it was renamed to "XLNZ" (X-tra Large Noise Zone) and the year after it was renamed again to S.M.A. (street magic art) while the 3 members with "Escape"(he was the lead MC of a band called fatal strike back then,and also Dj Space's friend since 1987),joined the already famous since 1994 graffiti crew S.M.A. ,as the music band of the crew.The concept:3mcs and one dj.Dj Space started experimenting himself on turntablism that year(2001).In the early 2002,Escape left the band for personal reasons on music purposes and the S.M.A. today consists of the 3 members (Dj Space on production and scratch, Disastah & Alchimistis on the mic).Despite that ,Dj Space and Escape still collaborate in other music projects.

In the year 2001 apart from Hip-Hop music he started the production of general electronic music,especially House & Trip-Hop music.Three years later a collaboration was made between him and Dj Whilem,for their general electronic music productions.OSKAR music productions (a project that no longer exists).Their first track "find me in the night" was released by Harmonic Distortion Records in a cd compilation ("ALTER EGO",September 2004).Two more of OSKAR tracks "Dance your troubles away" and "So easy" was released by Plus rec in cd collections ("ECLECTIC DANCE",December 2004 and "DANCE SESSIONS",June 2005).
