Brooklyn's Best-Kept secret Rubi R-Tres, is synonymous with her special delivery of Underground Dance Music, she enjoys expressing herself through various sounds by telling her own story. Rubi's selection is unique and will go anywhere from Deep House, Soulful Vocals, Deep Tech House, Deep Techno, Electronica, Afro Tech House, Sexy House, and Classic House. She also enjoys going left field with other genres such as New Wave, Funk-Disco-Garage, and Old School Hip-Hop.

RUBI began bed-room DJing in 2003. She later began establishing her name throughout New York City since 2005 spinning at various hot spots such as Santos Party House, Bar 13, LP N' Harmony, Bar Celona, Bembe, Cafe Deville, East Side Company, Frank's Lounge, Flute, HK Club, Identity Lounge, Label Lounge, Le Souk, Moomia Bar, Nuyorican Poet's Cafe, Sapphire Lounge, Sin Sin Lounge, Revolution Bar (Boston), Union Square Lounge, and XPO Gallery.

Currently, RUBI is back at Sapphire Lounge playing every second Monday of the month at her own party called "RENDEZVOUS, NYC"; here you can find RUBI on the decks, and her monthly guest and rotating co-residents: Derek Sampson, Danny Nunez, Perez Massimo, and Emkai.

RUBI had opportunities in opening for well known DJ artists such as DJ Disciple, Tony Touch, DJ Dove, Jon Cutler, Mr. V, DJ Ebar aka Indicant, Oscar P, Peter Reyes, Kenny Summit, Mr. V, and Scott Wozniak. Her inspirations are artist such as Larry Heard, Kerri Chandler, Glenn Underground, Ron Trent, Masters at Work, Wayne Gardiner, Vince Watson, Vincenzo, Derrick May, Carl Craig, Jeff Mills, Chymera, Rocco, Nick Holder, Joseph Valentin, and Steven Garcia.

RUBI's selection is original, and her intense energy on the decks has resulted in transforming a RENDEZVOUS on the dance floor.
