About Me:
DJ Rick was born in the West Indies on the island of St. Lucia. He moved to Milwaukee, WI at an early age. He started performing music playing drums, bass guitar, lead guitar, keyboards in local bands playing a variety of music from reggae to hip hop.
DJ Rick has been a DJ since 1988 in night clubs and for private parties; including weddings, community events, company parties, and sporting events in the Wisconsin, Chicago, and Atlanta areas. He is a DJ with a wide knowledge of music dating from the 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's. He plays music from a variety of genres; such as rock, R&B, country, hip-hop, blues, house, pop, techno, reggae, reggaeton, soca, and salsa. He also produces quality, custom re-mixed music for local dance, cheer, and pom-pom teams.
He works selling CD's, records, lighting, and audio equipment in stores in Wisconsin and has been doing so for years. And to keep his skills fresh, he continually works in his music studio working on remixing, audio-engineering, and production of music; and uses the most up-to-date equipment at all events.
DJ Rick provides a unique and personalized party experience. He accomplishes this by providing the host with a survey gathering information on the type of occasion being celebrated, the type of music preferred, information on the guest(s) of honor, and any special requests you may have to make your party memorable.
