Sound Prodigy Mobile Disc Jockey Service is an independently owned mobile music entertainment company based in San Diego. Since Sound Prodigys official induction into the world of mobile entertainment in 2000, they have covered a lot of ground in a very short amount of time. Everything from entertaining the troops at MCAS Miramar Naval Air Station to Mervynss retail corporate Christmas parties to the San Diego Marriott just to name a few. Not to mention the dozens of wedding receptions, holiday and theme parties that they also produce. Sound Prodigy has slowly begun to make a name for them in the competitive world of mobile entertainment.

Mr. Patrick Connolly (Owner) has been in the nightclub industry for over 11 years. It was while working in this business with the day-to-day duties, where Pat first became fascinated with wanting to be an entertainer. He had always loved music, but never realized what was in store for him in 1997. A good friend of his, who was a DJ at the time, told Pat that if he really wanted to become a Disc Jockey, he would give him the valuable training that was needed. Pat jumped at the chance, knowing that this would give him his break and put him into something that he had always wanted to do. Pat had reached the point in his professional career where he had learned all that he could learn in working with the local clubs.

In 1999, a mobile DJ performed at his wedding reception, which literally changed his way of thinking regarding his approach of creatively entertaining people. Even though Pat knew how to rock a party, he simply knew nothing about entertaining weddings. It was at this particular time in his life that he decided he wanted to include wedding receptions into his portfolio. It was not long after this that Pat became acquainted with a very well known and popular San Diego DJ who always wanted to work in the clubs. Pat made the DJ a deal. He would show him how to run a successful nightclub operation and in return, he would be shown the art of entertaining a wedding reception.

Since then, Pat has enthusiastically entertained thousands all over San Diego County and various parts of Southern California. With his good natured attitude, witty sense of humor, genuine attention to detail and a true love for what he does, Pat continually strives to impress, entertain, and amaze people everywhere he goes.

Sound Prodigys winning philosophy is a simple one; We would rather have one customer 100 times that 100 customers once. It is because of this professional attitude that Sound Prodigy continues to have return business and many referrals.
