Not many Maltese Djs can say they played on the same stage with Swedish House Mafia, Roger Sanchez, Black Eyed Peas, Lady Gaga, NERD, Akon, Iglesias to crowds of 50 000 people...Mykill is one of them. Quickly establishing his name as a show man, crowd pleaser and original Dj, always putting on tunes that rock the dance floor surprising the crowd with a mixture of ear friendly tunes and unexpected remixes, dropping in samples, jingles and his trademark microphone antics!

Mykill is a party Dj, when he hits the Dj stand the dance floor ignites immediately, as he delivers track after track, never taking safe bets, but simply interacting with his crowd no matter what capacity the club holds, like a friend would put tunes you love at your private house party!

Mykill and Kevin the bongo man;
Summer 2008 officially formed the Mykill and Kevin the bongo man as an original duo performing dj and live PA sets with long time friend and musical partner Kevin Spiteri. The idea, fusing Mykill's Elektro house set with Kevin playing on the latest Digital drums and bongos as percussion while headbanging his long hair was an overnight success. After investing in the latest Yamaha 12 piece Digital drum kit and triggers and marrying it with the old fashioned sounds of the bongo/jambee on top of the latest dance anthems and summer tunes plus a keyboard controller triggering samples, accappellas and samples from old movies resulting in a unique mix that keeps the dancefloor on edge, surprised and dancing with their hands up in the air all night! The set up proved to be a big success mainly since the two artist have been playing together in bands and clubs for the past 8 years thus establishing a musical chemistry that gels togther accentuating the music played with alot of visuals and samples. This original concept set proved very popular, with the duo releasing their first Cd compilation with 2 original original productions and selling many copies and over 500 downloads in the first 2 weeks of release. The cd also put the act on a higher level plus helped gettin bookings in Malta's top clubs, exclusive private events and international gigs in Lebanon, Cyprus and Greece.
Mykill and Kevin the bongo man playing to crowds of up to 4 000 people a night and are currently resident acts wit G7 at Gianpula, Malta's most popular club Shadow lounge every Wednesday and Saturdays, Chequers club, Ef boat parties every Tuesday, Bedoine bar Malta's most exclusive clubbing every Saturday and alot of big events such as Mtv, Faithless and Ministry of Sound events. Mykill & Kevin host tehir own radio show every Sat on 104.6FM from 21.00-01.00.

MYKILL and Kevin the Bongo man's STYLE:

Mykill is a very flexibale dj and total crowd pleaser with his sets ranging from chill out, vocal house to full on elektro and break beats. Always playing a mix of current Ibiza style vocal house with a touch of classic dancefloor all time tunes, a lot of Elektro and a mix of break beats highly influenced by the SWEDISH MAFIA HOUSE STYLE using his technique with a lot of looping, scratching, dropping and filtering EFX using the latest Pioneer CDJs1000Mk3 and Pioneers Djm800 mixer.
Although coming from a very commercial background they advanced to playing a more vocal house elektro break beatish Ibiza sound using a lot of FX, Jingles, Breaks, Acacpellas and knobs. Future projects to play again in Ibiza in summer 2008 closing parties, Dubai, London, Mtv Dance and go to London to study Sound Engineering. Remixed and produced soem good tunes available for download on line. Currently working on refurbishing their new recording studio to produce their debut album coming out Summer 2009 for a mixcd, demos..
