Haha, that's because right before they faded into this interview they were showing a minute of Live in Leipzig 1990 (btw great footage and nice version of fascination street)

and also used by The Cure as the intro at their concerts during the tour in 2000. great piece of music, especially listened to in a big live venue, setting the perfect mood for a following beautiful, dark and melancholic concert :-)
