BL were stretching statistics to the limit with this. The Mercedes W123 200 were slow, but you cannot compare the two cars. The Mercedes was very well built, whereas the Ital was everything that was wrong with BL on four wheels. Even the most drunk Italian couldn't 'style' a car this bad. However...
