@beleiver123 is on the money. They picked a West Indian crowd because they are famous for their carnival culture at cricket games, there is no fried chicken stereotype being deliberately exploited. Also, the West Indians toured that summer. TYT didn't do due diligence on this one.

Take the awful verses out of this song, and it's really good. Take all the similar ploddy bits out of the verses of the rest of the album's songs, and it's a really good record.
