Will.d Aka Will Dégge, started out his career with Liquid Drum & Bass in 2004 after spending many hours listening to Djs playing all sorts of music and buying his first set of decks, he was hooked
Not long after acquiring decks had he mastered Beatmatching. He then realised what technologies were available to the DJ world, so bought M-audios Torq Conectiv and Torq 1.0.4
This opened up a whole new playing field with regards to what he could do in the mix and what music he wanted to mix. After acquiring Torq, Will.d found himself falling more and more in love with Breaks, mainly Nuskool & Tearout style breaks due to having friends that produced Breakz, including a9ent0ran9e, Dirty B & Blastique.
Not long after getting into Breaks Will.d was recognized for his smooth transitions and taste in Breaks by many friends including Bruce Campbell (A9ent 0ran9e) & owner of Phat Pilgrim Records.
This opened up a new door Playing for Phat Pilgrim, Dirty B & a9ent0ran9es single launch parties and also in and around Canterbury including Allberrys, Bar 121, Chill, The Farm house, DV8 and many house/woodland parties.
As well as being a DJ, Will has trained as a Sound Engineer with the help of Matt Pearson, and forms the half of Universal Sound Systems, a PA hire company based in the Canterbury, Kent, UK area http://www.usspro.com
He is also an avid poster on the Torq Forums and this has enabled Will.d to expand his knowledge of DJ-ing along with getting to know a lot of Torq users who all share the same passion to DJ. This has expanded once more with a new website designed and run by several Torq users: Will.d, K-Sea, Ethan, DJ Necro and others.
