Brandon "Dj Cuttz" Duckett started his life (born) in a small town called Fredrick Maryland. Him and his parents later moved to Glen Burnie Maryland and he began his school and Church life like any other kid. Interested in music since he was the age 3 listening to Michael Jackson and other famous artist. Later in life he grew up buying all the music he possibly could hosting small parties for his friends at house parties. Growing up in the church as a Baptist/Methodist brought GOD into his life. Encouraged by his parents(Gwendolyn & Frankie Duckett) to always do better by going to church every Sunday and getting good grades in school Dj cuttz always listened and obeyed his parents. Dj Cuttz began making beats for young artist at the age 11. Producing and rapping was a hard deal for Cuttz as other things got in the way such as school grades falling, getting into trouble, and disrespecting people he knew he had to do better. At the ages 12 through 15 he focused more on saving money to one day get a pair of turntables but that day didn't come till he graduated from Olympic High school in 2004. After getting accepted to Winston Salem State university and graduation Cuttz began working through the summer saving money for the dj equipment needed necessary. Dj Cuttz was an inspired Dj from Maryland that had to transition from Baltimore Club Music, Go Go music to Down South music when he moved to Charlotte North Carolina. Many people thought it would be impossible but Dj Swade, Dj Cease Fire, Dj Reflection and Dj MC made the DJ world so much easier. "Study the Crowd" was the first proposition for Cuttz as his mentor Dj Swade once said. Dj cuttz would go from party to party just to listen to the music and study the dj's. Dj Swade landed Cuttz an opening gig for him every Saturday at many clubs around Winston Salem by his Sophomore year of college. Cuttz sophomore year of college(2005) was the beginning of a great career leading to many success through parties, shows, small concerts and celebrity parties in only his first year of Djing. Joining Shok-Da-Mas was a huge turning point in Dj Cuttz'z Career opening doors and opportunities in the Dj game. During spring break of 2006 Cuttz was landed a spot Djing in Miami for four consecutive nights. Returning to Miami for spring bling week, Chris of "Playboi4life" landed Cuttz a gig in Louisville KY for the Kentucky Derby. The KY derby party was thrown by Jermaine Dupri and Sponsored by Virgin Records/So So Def. Dj Cuttz recently jumped into the mixtape game where he has put out a name for himself. In later 2007 Dj Cuttz is still in school and doing parties, clubs, concerts, etc. on daily bases. College Tours and homecoming concerts have blown Dj Cuttz name up getting know by people all over the east coast. Myspace, Facebook, Bebo, and other internet sites have helped Dj Cuttz along the way also in getting X amount of friend request to appreciation messages and other non Dj stuff. He's Just getting started.
