Dj Butterfly (Alfredo De Nicola) was born in Milan on 23 of July, 1982. He started his musical career playing in several night clubs of Como and Milan.
In 2001 he becomes the most know Dj in Como area, so that he gaines the partecipation to MATRIX, a Suisse Dj contest. Unsurprisingly he wins the contest (among other 40 partecipants).
During the year 2005 he publishs his first co-production with DANIEL MAKER,
NAVIGATOR.
He joins the most important Techno-Trance-House events all around Europe. From 2006 he becomes a special guest at ENERGY, GOLIATH, SONIC, THE MYTHOS and even at the famous OXA in Zurich.
In 2009 he records a compilation and presents it at ENERGY (a famous arena) at Hallenstadion in Zurich, also known as "DESTINATION ARENA".
Here he has such a great success that Arnold Meyer of Glamourama (Energy Manager), impressed by DJ BUTTERFLY's skills decides to make him play as DJ-resident with other internationally known artists as TIESTO - DAVID GUETTA - SVEN VATH - SIED VAN RIEL.
In 2010 produces with DAVE202 the track "DUST IN THE AIR", that immediatly enters several european trance compilations and Tiesto's playlist.
