The Obama Iraq Documentary: Whatever the Politics Demand
(3 weeks ago)
McCain has changed positions on Iraq too. McCain voted for the Iraq War in 2002, then when things were going badly he criticized Rumsfeld for invading with too few troops. McCain, if you thought our forces were too weak, you shouldn't have given Bush the green light. Instead, McCain proposed a surge AFTER we lost 3000+ troops. The Bush-McCain surge was 4 years too late, and thanks to the surge we now have 4100+ Americans dead in Iraq. Brilliant strategy, pal.

Under McCain's lousy economic policies, the US will be almost as poor as Mexico. That will cut illegal immigration way down.

John McCain TV Ad: Purpose
Don't knock Obama's experience, he has been a US Senator for almost 4 years. Just becoming a senator is a bigger accomplishment than most YouTube trollers can point to.
Another Illinois politician, a Republican by the name of Abraham Lincoln, had only 2 years on Capitol Hill (in the House of Representatives, 1847-49) before becoming president.
If you want to trumpet McCain's experience as a long-time Washington insider, go for it. That strategy didn't work so well for Hillary Clinton.

John McCain Web Ad - 2013

Republicans have a solution to our oil shortage: make the shortage even worse. Drilling for oil offshore and in ANWR only makes us run out of oil faster.
Right now the Republican solution is to drill oceans and public lands. When those are dry, the only place to drill will be private property. They would use Eminent Domain powers to drill wherever there's oil, including your back yard. That is McCain's oil plan: drill it dry. Then "hope" for another source.
