Jazz and blues singer makes history in the Asia, USA and Europe.

Dynamic jazz and blues singer who holds a Master's degree in Communications and B.A. in Music and Communications. She's dazzled audiences on five continents and has taught over 5,000 children about the History of Jazz and Blues and Women in Jazz. In 1998, she produced Gaiafest, A Celebration of Mother Earth with Women in Jazz, featuring Dakota Staton and honoring famed pianist Dorothy Donegan. Her first recorded composition was SWEET RETURN on Atlantic Records by Freddie Hubbard and the Kool Jazz All-Stars of 1983. Joan continues to perform and teach jazz performance in Asia, as she tours China and Japan.
