About Me:
Distemper is a ska punk band from Moscow, Russia. Formed in 1989 it is the greatest russian ska punk band ever and one of the most famous russian punk band. For 17 years of existence Distemper has impressive achievements: many albums and compilations, really big Europe and Scandinavia tours, army of fans not only in Russia and of course a firm distemper-style, with a special energy of live performances and inexhaustible creative potential. Distemper is one of not many russian bands which are regularly touring and releasing albums in Europe and has there many fans. The band has been invited to the biggest international festivals many times, as a headliners as well. Distemper was the first russian band playing ska punk, but on first two albums "My Segondya s Baem", released in 1991 and "Oi du-du!" in 1993, it was actually a hardcore / punk. Their album "Gorod" (City), released in 1995 was a transition point to ska punk music. After that Distemper has released: 1997 - "Vnature! Ale! Horosh!!!" 1997 - "Face Control" 1999 - "Nu Vse!" (That's all!) 2000 - "Ska Punk shpiony" (Ska Punk spies) 2001 - "Dobroe utro" (Good morning) 2001 - "Hi! Good Morning!" 2003 - "Nam po...!" (We dont really care!) 2003 - "Putevoditel po russkomu rocku" (The guidebook of russian rock) 2004 - "Ska Punk Party International" - split Distemper & The Know How 2004 - "Distemper" 2004 - "XV" 2005 - "Podumay kto tvoi druzya" (Think who are your friends) 2006 - "Esli parni obyedenyatsya" (If guys will be united) - split Distemper & Tarakany! Album "Podumay kto tvoi druzya" is the best album of Distemper in opinion of many fans and musicians, it is some kind of a firm press reliably fixed all achievements of the long musical way of legendary russian band.
