SICK pads!!! I wanted something like that for my new set but ended up getting a great deal on Vaughn Epic 8800 (Iceberg) pads & gloves...so I went for that instead. Barely needed any breaking in either, so that was pretty sweet!

@BillionDollarZombie Another good tactic is going to a big hockey store and asking a manager about discontinued gear (i.e. RBK is now Reebok so RBK gear is a steal)...I was able to get a full Vaughn Epic Iceberg Pro Spec set (pads & gloves) with custom Montreal colours for $1,500 and I'm in Ottawa.
